Looking Young, Staying Young

Honestly, it doesn't bother me anymore how others perceive me as-- a little girl. I used to. Many years ago, I wanted to look mature and acted maturer. No matter what age I will be turning, I'm going to look young. Now, I am happy that I look much younger than my real age. I aim to look exactly the same, if not younger, when I turn 40. In a blink of an eye, I will be 40.
I have a young heart. As I age, I actually find that my little childlike-innocence has returned. Having more understanding about the energies and life, I become more light-hearted. I will have patience. Some day, somebody will know.
The conflicting side is that my occupation as a medical professional. I look a bit too young for my profession. But hey, once I get through these few years, or the next few years, by the time I am 40, and people would be amazed by how I look, and finally appreciate my understanding of TCM (health preservation, Yang Sheng).
Rarely, there are patients who say to me-- you must be good at TCM. You look so young! But some do.
I live what I practice.
I understand it. I do it. I live.
To me, personally, I have a very high expectation of myself. I don't say one and do the other.
